Terms of service
These terms of service apply to your use of kuyitravel.online (the “website”) and to every purchase you make on it. The website is run by Kuyi Travel Limited (“Kuyi Travel”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Hong Kong (company number 3556281, business registration number 78114980), with its registered office at Room B3, 19/F, Tung Lee Commercial Building, 91-97 Soi Hang Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. By using the website or placing an order you agree to these terms.
Other terms that apply
When you book a tour, these terms apply together with:
- our booking conditions, which form the contract for your tour;
- our cancellation and refund policy, which explains the 20% deposit and when it is refunded;
- our privacy policy, which explains how we use your personal data.
If these terms and the booking conditions say different things about a tour, the booking conditions apply.
Who can book
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to place an order. If you book for other travellers, you confirm that they have agreed to these terms and that you are authorised to give us their details.
Information on the website
We describe our tours, routes, hotels and prices as accurately as we can. Photographs show the places a tour visits and are for illustration; they are not a promise of the exact room, boat or view you will have. Itineraries can change because of weather, local conditions or the availability of suppliers, as set out in the booking conditions. If we make an obvious error in a price, we will tell you before confirming your booking and you may cancel with a full refund.
Orders and payment
Placing an order is an offer to book. A contract is formed only when we confirm your booking by email. Prices are shown and charged in Hong Kong dollars (HK$). Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number. Your card statement will show Kuyi Travel.
At checkout you pay a deposit of 20% of the trip price. The balance is due 30 days before departure. The deposit is non-refundable once your booking is confirmed, except in the cases listed in our cancellation and refund policy.
Disputes about a charge
If you do not recognise a charge or think you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us at [email protected] before contacting your bank. We reply within two working days and correct any mistake promptly.
Using the website
You agree not to misuse the website: for example, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, place false or fraudulent orders, or use it to send unsolicited messages. We may refuse or cancel an order that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, and will refund any amount paid in that case.
Intellectual property
The text, itineraries, logo and design of the website belong to Kuyi Travel or are used with permission. Photographs are used under licence from their owners. You may view and print pages for your own personal use, but you may not copy or republish them for commercial purposes without our written consent.
Links to other websites
The website may link to other websites, such as hotels, airlines or visa services. We are not responsible for their content or for services they provide to you.
Our liability
Our responsibility for your tour is set out in the booking conditions. For the use of the website itself, we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors, and we are not liable for any loss caused by a temporary interruption. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on the date you placed your order.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction. Nothing in them affects the rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
